Carl Jennings is Associate Professor of Art and Creative Thinking at Kapi’olani Community College, at the University of Hawai’i. He coordinates the Painting and Drawing program and also serves on the Faculty Senate ad hoc Committee on Sustainability.


In addition to teaching he is also a practicing artist whose work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally and has been acquired by both private and public institutions worldwide. His interests include the interface of art, philosophy, science and sustainable thinking as well as the nature of creativity, perception and colour theory. Originally born in Liverpool, UK, he is married with three children and currently resides in Hawai’i, USA.
