3/5
Day 1 of veggieful life -- not much different from any other day except I've had oatmeal for breakfast AND lunch. I'm not sure I'm even supposed to have had lunch (it being Ash Wednesday and a day of fast.) Went to AW services right after work, felt funny about wearing my ashes to Daiei and Down to Earth but mostly people were like "Is it Ash Wednesday already? I have to get to church!"
I got organic vegetable bouillion from Down to Earth. I hope it makes a tasty soup. I like DTE -- I've never actually bought anything there before except for maybe Luna bars when I would go sometimes with my mom to buy her strange mix of grains and fiber. But I like it because people are very helpful and friendly -- but not overly friendly, if you know what I mean. Like if you're just looking around, they leave you alone. If you are looking around in Safeway, twenty people want to know what you're looking for so they can help you find it. That wasn't a complaint, just a comparison.
I wonder if I'll feel like cooking anything up for dinner (or demi-dinner or whatever we're allowed to eat) when I get home. Usually I just want to sleep after I leave the kids, but since there's no Bentley school tonight we might have a mellower evening, knock wood, cross fingers, yeah. I read that three servings of oatmeal a day helps reduce cholesterol. Mm, yummy dehydrated apples. (Seriously, I love the dehydrated apples.)

Joyous day, the computer arrived! Now I can finally get some work done around here! ... or maybe go shopping online or something.
