Networld+Interop is a networking trade show that is held around the world. The University of Hawaii ICS Department takes part in the LasVegas and the Atlanta versions through interns and technical staff. This internship program provides the ICS students with a way to apply some "real world" experience to their computer science classwork.
HotStage is where the InteropNet is first assembled at a warehouse in Belmont
California. From there it is shipped via trucks to the trade show venue. HotStage
is before LasVegas, Retool is before Atlanta. The network is designed early
in the year and first built at HotStage. After the LasVegas show, refinements
are made and instituted at ReTool for shipment to Atlanta.
