Returning to school after a year (or more) absense ?

Single, Married, separated, divorced, widowed ?

A veteran ?

A recipient of a General Education Diploma (GED)?

A combination of any of the above?

If you meet any of these criteria, you qualify for special services as a NONTRADITIONAL STUDENT.

Nontraditional students at UH Manoa presently make up over 40% of the total student population. This group is consistently & steadily increasing.

UHM has established the CENTER FOR ADULTS RETURNING TO EDUCATION (CARE) on the Manoa campus to address the unique and special needs of the "re-entry adult learner."
