For you mainland people, this issue probably won't contain anything of real interest since it is merely announcements. I heartily apologize for that. ----------------- | ANNOUNCEMENTS | ----------------- EAT, DRINK, AND SING KARAOKE ---------------------------- This coming Friday, December 8, will be the Chi Alpha Christmas Banquet. It will be held at Hanate's Bistro in Hawaii Kai. We have reservations at 6:30 pm, so we will be leaving at 6:00 from Chi Alpha Corner (between Wainani I and F). If you did not sign up at last Friday's meeting, but would like to go, contact Rod at 598-5809. He's arranging the reservations and the early food orders. Afterwards, at around 9:00 pm, we will be going to Joy Square in the Waikiki Trade Center for two hours of karaoke fun. The cost for the karaoke will be four to five dollars per person. STRUNG OUT ON CAPUCCHINO ------------------------ The Baptist Student Union is sponsoring a coffee night study hall during finals week. It will take place from Sunday the 10th through Thursday the 14th, every night, from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am at the BSU house (2042 Vancouver Dr. -- a block from Sinclair Library). They also have study rooms available for study groups. CHI ALPHA WORSHIP NIGHT ----------------------- Just a reminder: if you are going to be on the island for any part of the winter break, check out the meeting on Friday, December 15. It will be an all worship night, and the status of the rest of the winter break XA meetings will probably be determined there. PARDON ME, BUT DO YOU WISH TO REMAIN ON OUR MAILING LIST? --------------------------------------------------------- If my stacks of Brotherly issues are piling up in you mailbox like junk mail, and you wish to be removed from the Chi Alpha mailing list, by all means send me a wire and let me know. I assure you I won't be offended. On the other hand, if you know someone who is considering joining our family, and would like to be added to the mailing list, send me their e-mail address and I will make the necessary adjustments. CHILDREN OF DECEMBER -------------------- Joel Elies 12/15 Donna Yamasaki 12/15 And that's it. See, didn't that issue look incredibly dull. For next semester, let's step up the quality of this newsletter by increasing the submission rate. I know that everybody has something to share, and I would like to see it.
