I apologize that this Newsletter is a wee bit late getting out. I've been busy with a bunch of other things. Hopefully you'll get this email before the Thursday meeting. Even if you don't, the announcements will just be repeated and expanded there. There aren't many announcements this time around anyhow. Clean Money ----------- Our first fundraiser will be held this coming Friday, 2/10. We will be getting money for helping Assembly of God Red Hill to clean up after the big Worship '95 seminar being held Friday night. We will be meeting between the Wainani twin towers (I and F buildings) at 5:00 p.m. for rides. Don't worry about food since we will be stopping by for a pizza or something on the way there, and then tailgating before the event actually begins. Hence the early departure time. We don't know how long it will all take, but we do know that we are getting paid a flat rate and that the time is inversely proportional to the helpers (in other words, the more people we have, the less time it will take for the cleaning). Please try to make it; we will all be grateful. Hiking postponed ---------------- The hike that had been scheduled for last Saturday the 4th was postponed to Monday the 20th, President's Day. Becuase the Aloha Run is on the same day, we have changed the time and place of hiking as well. The hike will be at around 10:00 a.m., after most people will have completed the race, and the location is still to be determined. Details will probably come on Thursday. Guest speaker Thursday ---------------------- One last thing: this Thursday, 2/9, we will be having a guest speaker.
