Shinnosuke "shin-chan" Nohara

The main character, Shin-chan is the center of all the chaos around him. Shin-chan is a small kindergarten aged boy, with a rather large head and big round eyes. He has very full eyebrows and a very small mouth. You may often see Shin-chan with a big biege ball on his head, which means he was up to mischief. the. ball is a bump given to him with the a highlighted POW!, from his mother.
Shin-chan is best described as a cross between Dennis the Menace and Bart Simpson...but much, much worse. Shinchan attends a little school where he enjoys annoying his teachers; Matsuzaki and Yoshinaga-sensei and two of his classmates; Kazama-kun and Kawamura-kun (shinchans classmates). Shinchan like any other young male child, loves super heroes...shinchan loves one in particular...the great, powerful, almighy...AcTiOn KaMeN!!!!!

Wherever Shin-chan goes ChAoS is surely to follow...and his mother isn't too far behind.

Misae "ka-chan" Nohara

Shin-chan's mother. She want's and tries to be the perfect housewife and mother but she has one small problem...Shinnosuke "shin-chan" Nohara. She wears the pants in the Nohara family, and rules with an iron fist, which you will find quite often being whacked against Shin-chan's or her husbands head. She gives off a aura of a good little housewife... but really she is really a short-tempered woman underneath. And Shinchan really knows how to make her burst. He does many things to make her burst from always trying to pick up older women on the street or always telling her she's flat chested in public. All of these are usually followed by POW! and a round lump...

She is the head of the house...

Hiroshi "to-chan" Nohara

Shinchan's father. He is the typical japanese, nose to the grind-stone, hard working wage earner. He is a fairly successful buisness man, who provides his family with a fairly comfortable middle-class life. He is always working so, he hardly has any time to spend with Shinchan. But when he does spend time with his son; you see a completely different side to this japanese business man, one which is not that different from his son. Because of his overbearing wife Hiroshi doesn't get out that often. So he finds refuge from the world and his wife in his drems or fantasies...but his wife has been creeping into them...

Shiro Nohara

Shin-chan's pooch. Shiro is Shinchan's small, white and somewhat dumb dog. Shiro came to live with the Nohara's when Shinchan's schoolmate Nene and the rest of his friends found Shiro on the street. I say that Shiro is dumb because if he had any intelligence he would have ran away by now. Instead he just sits there quietly taking all the light-hearted abuse that Shinchan dishes out. Shinchan has taught Shiro some tricks like standing on his hind legs and dancing but he has also taught shiro a trick he calls Chinchin kai kai...i think i'll let you figure it out!

Run...Shiro...Run!!!
