Hello, my name is Jonathan (Jody) David Boyne. I have been a Psychiatric Counselor for the last 25 years, and have taught Psychology, Transpersonal Psychology, Comparative Religion and Meditation. My own Earth-life's challenges, OBEs (out-of-body-experiences), NDEs (near-death-experiences), Guru(s), East-West teachers and meditation practice, have helped open my interdimensional awareness and memory. Many of the above sources, along with the sacred texts of East and West, have helped me integrate with the current planetary work. As a fellow wanderer and colleague of Scott Mandelker's, I was pleased to contribute to his research. I currently work in the Business, Humanities and Social Science Reference Department of the University of Hawaii Hamilton Library (Here's a live streaming video of the Library), and for the largest online library reference organization, QuestionPoint 24/7 Reference.
My family is Irish, Scot, Austrian, German and English, and emigrated to New York (read the book How the Irish Saved Civilization and The Irish in America). I was born in Seattle, where my father taught Business and Sociology at UW and was a business consultant, and where my mother, a specialist in early childhood education, owned and operated a nursery school. After a stay in Europe, my family then returned to Honolulu where my father and great-uncle were stationed during WWII, where my father and mother had been married, and where my father then continued to teach and consult and my mother taught and later became a librarian. I have family here in Honolulu, British Columbia, California and New Jersey. I have lived most of my life here in the historic College Hills area of Manoa Valley, Honolulu, with periods in California, and yearly on Saltspring Island, British Columbia, Canada - see Salt Spring Island - Wikipedia and Saltspring Island Chamber of Commerce Virtual Tours.
I enjoy sailing, kayaking, hiking, bicycling, reading, taking care of my web page and web correspondence, meditation, music, cats, garage sales, and my family.
