Bridging the Gap from Classroom Theory to Real World Computer Networking

Blanca Polo's Master's Thesis

NetLab is a virtual training environment that can be used to teach networking students how to operate real-world equipment. The main objective of this software package is to give students the opportunity to learn about networking equipment without the need for the networking equipment itself. NetLab provides this generic network laboratory virtual environment. NetLab is implemented in JAVA and can run on a variety of systems.
