1.  Basic Biochemistry, 4 credits (organized and taught this entire course in the early years)

2.  Basic Biochemistry Laboratory, 1 credit (designed and conducted the entire lab.  Thanks, TAs!)


Biochemistry classroom students studying Secondary Protein Structure built models, such the alpha-helix.

3.   Medical Biochemistry, 9 credits (gave occasional sets of lectures)

4.   The Biochemistry of Synaptic Transmission, 2 credits (first such course taught at Univ. of Hawaii

5.   Brain, Mind, and Neurochemistry, 2 credits (Unique course on Fundamentals of Neurorealism)

6.   Seminars in Biochemistry, 1 credit (department's weekly seminar program was rotated among faculty)

7.   Classroom Guest Lecturer (presented occasional lectures as invited by other Instructors)

8.   Seminar Speaker at National Universities (a hosted speaker at a number of American universities)

9.   Presenter at International Meetings (often the research presented was later published as Abstracts).

10. Presenter of “Neurorealism” a 24 contact hour course for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.
