 Aloha from Aileen Nagaoka through Cyberspace!
 I am a part of the ’s International Staff, and some of us have started a Wadaiko Group for cultural and physical purposes. Under the protective wings of our Japanese Language teacher, and our Taiko Sensei, we are performing at many of the community and school’s ceremonies (Ground Breaking, APAC, Kobe Festivals/Matsuri, etc.) even though we have been around for less than two years.



According to Mr. Fred Weeson (Headmaster), “Thanks to the committee members and other volunteers who helped make the Ground Breaking Ceremony such a success. The High School Concert Band played brilliantly, the Taiko Drum group added passion and energy to help the shovelers with their cermonial duties.” (Fred Wesson November Letter)
