about this website

So what's this all about?

Well, this website is basically a place where I'm able to share a bit about what I do, what I like, and some of my past and present work in a few different areas like photography and graphic design.

I use a variety of software packages in my design work, most often Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver and Cinema 4D. I also enjoy writing and photography. I've provided some examples of my work in the portfolio section of this site.

about me

I grew up in a sleepy little town in Alaska called Skagway. I now live in Honolulu, where I work for the University of Hawaii at Manoa as a graduate assistant. I've recently received a B.A. in Communication with a minor in Geology and Geophysics. I am now working towards a Master's in Communications, and until I graduate, these studies occupy most of my time and attention. Outside of school, I usually stay busy with hobby and sport. I love to read, hike, bicycle, run, scribble drawings, and hang with my friends. Actually, that list is a good deal longer, but I'll spare you the details! Professionally, I'd like to pursue a career in either public relations or multimedia design. I enjoy volunteering for a pre-professional student organization called PRSSA - Public Relations Student Society of America, whose local chapter website I've designed and still maintain (here). More than anything, though, I enjoy a great conversation! Send me a note from the "contact" page of this site, and I'm happy to reply.
