Beta Alpha Psi is an honorary organization for Financial Information students and professionals. The primary objective of Beta Alpha Psi is to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in the business information field.
BAP strives to provide events that offer skill set enhancement and accounting field knowledge.Through BAP Masters, members gain access to in-house training sessions that cover topics like team-building, interviewing, and public speaking. There are also numerous workshops with professionals that better prepare members for futures in accounting.
Office Tours and Professional Interactions with many of Honolulu's largest accounting firms not only offer insight to varying aspects of corporate culture, they also provide opportunities for BAP members to meet and establish relationships with the professional community. Individuals also build their networks through camaraderie with fellow members.
Community Involvement is an integral part of Beta Alpha Psi's culture. The Delta Theta Chapter at UH participates in events such as tutoring for introductory accounting courses, cleaning up beaches and parks, and volunteering at non-profit events.
