KEY IDEA:  For your web page to show on the internet,
both the html and image files need to be placed on a server.

Step 41. Make sure you have saved all your changes to the page by clicking save

Step 42.  To publish your free web page you will need to make an account at Yahoo's free GeoCities hosting service.

Your instructor may have made one already.
Ask your instructor if they have a server address and account information for you, then write the information down.

Step 43. Once you have your account information, including a login and password,
you will need to open a new browser window  so you can see  GeoCities and this tutorial at the same time.

To do this through Mozilla, go to  'File,'  'Open Web Location...'
and type in    geocities.yahoo.com

open web location

Step 44
At
the GeoCities login page  enter your account information.

Your next step will be to click 'Choose File'

Step 46.  In the 'Easy Upload' window you will click on 'Choose File' and that will take you into a Mac OS X file finder window
where you will select your Name-Color-Index.html file then click Open/Create.

You will have to do this step 2 more times, once each for each of you image files,
Put_in_folder_####.gif, and the other file you downloaded.

Step 47.  After you used 'Choose File' three times you should have a view like this:

Once you have your .html and .gif files chose,  just click the 'Upload Files' button.   button

Step 48.  Now a window pops up to show you your upload results.
