COM 495 Course OverviewCatalog description: Analysis of communication processes, under faculty supervision, through participation in the operations of an organization. Repeatable up to three credit hours. (Pre: 201 & junior standing) Office Visits & Class MeetingsOffice Hours: Once a month throughout the semester we will meet in person. I also will conduct my virtual office hours via WebCT once a week. The hours will be posted in our WebCT online course homepage. You can also reach me by phone, e-mail and in person during my office hours. Please refer to the syllabus of this semester. Class Meetings: We will be meeting as a class once per month during the semester. These meetings will be held to discuss some guidelines early in the semester and to go over what will be expected of you. All students enrolled in COM 495 are required to attend all meetings. A Word About ConsentYour continued enrollment in this class, beyond the first few days after registration, will be considered an indication that you fully understand and agree to the terms set forth in the course description and syllabus. Please study this document carefully. If you find something that you cannot live with, then please drop the class. Otherwise, I will work with you to the best of my ability to help you succeed in your internship. |
