Hackystat

Hackystat is a framework allowing us to explore ways to provide software developers with automated support for collecting and analyzing interesting and useful software process and products metrics. It takes a relatively radical stance toward automation: if metric collection and analysis is not automated, then the overhead of collecting and maintaining software metrics will thwart adoption for most developers.

Hackystat has been under active development and maintenance since July, 2001, and has been through several major architectural revisions. My own research and development is related to a component for metrics trend analysis in support of project management and process improvement.
