To give a taste of
the blood of Christ,
and for his body,
a guinea pig.

It took five years
from the Haley's Comet
to paint this glorious
defiance of Hispanic hypocrisy
and to celebrate
the triumph of Christian love
and the native fruits of Inca's
Sungod and Pacha Mama
opening a new labyrinth
of indigenous paths
to self-identity.
