AS YOU WISH, MARYAM

A silly poem from a silly father
To his daughter, who is wise, beautiful and poetic.

"As you wish," said Wesley
to Princess Bride.
But Princess Bride showed faith
to the last, longest kiss.
I have endured
many scoundrels
for your love
to know that
I'm here only
as a convenience
to your Majesty.
"Count your blessings,"
said the Walrus,
"in this Christmas Season."
