Greetings, I am a Ph.D. student in Linguistics at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.  My biggest interests in the study of language concern grammar - phonology and morphology and syntax - and the social and cultural context of language.

Research Interests
Verbal art is the phenomena that inspires me to study language.  Languages I'm interested in, among others, Indo-European (English, Italian, German), Austronesian (Indonesian, Pohnpeian), Finno-Ugric (Finnish)  and contact languages (Hawaii Creole English, Patwois).
