Volunteer Opportunities

The most important qualities needed to be a successful volunteer with HBEP, are volunteer in education center classroomenthusiasm, an open-mind, and an interest in sharing information with park visitors. Your volunteer time should also be an enjoyable and rewarding experience! Before going any further, take a moment to think about your interests, what you like to do, and even what you don't like to do. Keep these thoughts in mind as you click on the position titles listed below to view a description of the training, responsibilities, and requirements associated with each volunteer opportunity. When you find something that sounds fun, follow the instructions to obtain a volunteer application.

Please note that training for some opportunities is only offered during specific times of the year. Also, due to the popularity of our program, not all opportunities have openings at this time and positions may be filled on a competitive basis when openings become available.
