TIPS
FOR COLLEGE
Create a four-year
high school course plan.
Review Farrington High School's graduation requirements and make sure
you are taking courses that will prepare you for college. Visit your high
school college counselor for help on getting this done.
Take the PSAT/NMSQT practice test
found in the PSAT/NMSQT Student Bulletin. Pick up a copy from your high
school college counselor.
Practice with past PSAT/NMSQT
questions.
Get involved in school activities!
Colleges like to see student involvement. Participate in student government,
clubs or even sports activities. Volunteer to help with community service
projects.
Start investigating on possible careers!
What careers interest you the most?
Improve and continue good study habits!
Remember that your grade point average (GPA) is very important on getting
accepted into a college or university.
