Breast Cancer:

I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma in October of 1998.

I went through chemotherapy to shrink the tumor.

I had a lumpectomy on February 2, 1999.

I believe that I was able to survive that crisis in my life

through the goodness and mercy of

my Heavenly Father and his only begotten son, Jesus Christ.

I was blessed to have had the support of my parents as well as my three children while I was going through that ordeal.

I was blessed with the support of my church, too.

I never really saw myself as a role model as I was going through that stage in my life.

I feel that others have been a shining example in my life,

mainly the members of my church and not just my ward

but all the members that I have ever had contact with in person, on the Internet and

through the broadcasts of the General Conferences on television.

I would like to publicly thank all those who have touched my life and had their lives touched by me.

I know that God lives and that he sent his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to save us through the atonement.

I believe that President Gordon B. Hinckley is a true prophet of God and that he will lead us on and

that those who can endure until the end will be rewarded in the Celestial Kingdom.

I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

University of Hawaii at Manoa

I am a graduate of the College of Business Administration at UHM.

I have a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems

and walked the line on December 17, 2000. I am a current candidate for a certificate in Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Secondary Education.

Religion:

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, better known as "the Mormons".

As anyone who can read, can see,

I do believe in JESUS CHRIST,

which makes me a Christian.

I am extending an invitation to anyone to visit the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints..

Our website is www.lds.org

I believe that people should respect my religious beliefs even if they don't like them.

I do not force them on others nor do I expect others to force their beliefs on me.

I believe that we should all try to respect each other and our beliefs.

Genealogy:

I'm looking for the ancestral link to England or Scotland of

Elias Wright who was a doctor in Hawaii back in the latter 1800's.

His father was a sea captain who came to Hawaii.

His ancestors came from Edinborough by way of Dover, Delaware.
