Helpful hints: It is recommended that you demonstrate counseling or psychotherapy skills that highlight your strengths as a clinician and gives us an idea how you usually work with clients. For example, most intern applicants have good basic listening skills and demonstrating the first half-hour of the first session with a new client will not be as helpful as showing your use of more advanced skills with an ongoing client. Please feel free to briefly introduce your intervention at the beginning of the video (less than one minute) or provide a brief description of the strategies you used (less than one page). Please do not send us a videotape of a real client. Please preview the video before you send it to ensure high video and audio quality. If you would like your videotape returned, please send a stamped self-addressed envelope.
