Hello and welcome to the plains of Cactus Garden, Kapiolani Community College! Where the studnets are proud to boast about. It is where young couples seek the inner beauty within our campus, to seek privacy, eat their lunch or just hanging around to chit-chat! Much time and devotion went tinto this project and let us give you a little description. This Garden was founded in 1988 by the name of Moriso Teraoka and his friends. His interest in plants and rain help to start this beautiful senery on our campus. A retired contractor by the name of Walter Schiess volunteered to help Mr. Teraoka who donated and designed the garden. Also donating to our wonderful garden is Geri Ham-Young, Susan Huynt, Sue Isonage, and Ben Okabe. There are many varieties of plants here that come from different parts of the world.
