Early in his career, Dr. Morton, a biochemist, self-tested over 40 different psychoactive compounds

looking for relief from his debilitating seasonal depression. He ultimately found a class of compounds

that specifically attacked the Ego. Although his Ego fought back valiantly, Dr. Morton uncovered the conditions

leading to “Ego death” where he repeatedly experienced dying. Each time, while the medicine incapacitated

his frightened Ego, another very different consciousness came to the fore. It seemed to be God Himself.

Yet, how could simply trying an unorthodox medication literally bring forth the presence of the divine into his consciousness?

It was then that Dr. Morton recognized a final step in human maturation: the discovery of the ancient truth

that God was always within you, as the real you. Not God, an external supernatural spirit. Rather, God

as your Inner Source, Holy Spirit, and Higher Power, your brain-based, genetic, and mortal Social Brain.

Operating unrecognized within the unconscious, it acts to forward the immortality of life. As the opponent

of our usually more dominant self-oriented Ego, our Source is family, species and life-oriented.

With this insight, Dr. Morton, decided to surrender his uncertain future to his Higher Power. He did so,

because he found that his Source already had his purpose, his plan and the power to accomplish it.

Upon doing so, his Source made clear the outlines of this book and set Dr. Morton to prove them correct.

This has resulted in numerous research publications. The ultimate goal of his Source is awaken other Sources

and align with them to optimize the survival of true human beings.

Promise:

If you read this book, you will never be the same. Because, you will understand the discoveries

described by Neuroscientist, Bruce Morton, who by self-experimentation uncovered the nature of

the Ego. This enabled him repeatedly to inhibit his ego and experience "Ego Death and Transcendence".

While his ego was incapacitated, Dr Morton experienced a discharge of impacted traumatic memories

as he saw his life flash before his eyes. Then, he became aware of the profound, sublime consciousness
