The Broadcast Communication Authority (BCA) is a Chartered Student
Organization of the University of Hawai'i with the principle purpose
"to govern
and operate facilities in the city of Honolulu in the state of Hawaii in order
to broadcast by radio, television, or by any other mode
of electronic communication
which now or in the future may exist; musical, cultural, educational, informational
and other programs for the
entertainment and benefit of the University community
and the public; and for the education and training of individuals within its
jurisdiction."
In more specific terms, the BCA currently oversees the operations
of the Student Radio Station (KTUH FM Honolulu) and the
Student Video and Filmmakers'
Association (SVFA).
