Literature Resource Page
Goals:
(1)
Compile and organize existing teaching materials (for all grade
levels) about Hawaii’s local literature – syllabi, lesson plans,
bibliographies, internet links, etc. – and make this resource available to
educators worldwide.
(2)
Set up a network for interested teachers to connect, dialogue, and
collaborate with each other, creating a more cohesive educational
community.
(3)
Encourage and enable more teaching of local literature in the
classroom, thereby enriching and enlivening our local literary community
